For over 60 years, Hillside has assisted Jewish families during their time of need. We provide families with a place of beauty, tranquility and observance of Jewish tradition in which to honor and remember their loved ones. Hillside is a community service of Temple Israel of Hollywood. We have enjoyed a strong cultural relationship with the Greater Los Angeles Jewish Community by sponsoring Jewish events, providing a community burial site for retired Torah scroll and worn prayer books and offering a special Kever Avot v’Imahot (Memorial) Service during the High Holy Days for families remembering those who have passed.

Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries has been a solid presence in the Southern California Jewish community for over 50 years, serving this and past generations, and preparing for future generations. In 2001, Mount Sinai created a new Memorial Park designed to serve our Jewish community for the next 200 years - Mount Sinai West in Simi Valley. Nestled against the foothills, protected by a nature preserve and sculpted in green lawns, our Simi Valley Park is a perfect setting for your remembrances.
